phonetic scrabble

My childhood friend and I wanted a new, light hearted game to play, so— our phonetic scrabble was born! It gave us many good laughs and was our go to when energy was low. 

Instead of using a normal name-brand board and changing the rules, I wanted to cerate a board meant for phonetic play! Fonetic Skrabul is what I thought our board game would look like if it came to fruition. I wanted this conceptual board game to have an inviting, relaxed feel, so I focused on using soft colors and shapes.

We challenge you to think of this differently than other board games. The goal isn’t necessarily to win, although you may take the route. Instead, it challenges you to think outside the box! By the end of the game, you get to look back at all your akahdemik (academic) fails.
